The American Art Museum

We had a great meeting at the beautfiul Smithsonian American Art Museum last night. It is right next to the Verizon Center at 8th and G Streets. The auditorium there is first rate and the space is just lovely and has a very long and rich history, including the story of Lincoln's rowdy Inaugual Ball! (Hmmm.....)  Unfortunatley the only photographer present was me with my awful Blackberry camera! Nonetheless, I am proud to post my pic with 2 lovlies-Becky from the Air and Sapce Museum and Tara from the Torpedo Factory. It is time to book those holiday parties as well as next year's weddings-so be sure to call jan Davis Entertainment and Events for all the planning, decor and entertainment at any of these great venues!

Westin Grand Reception

Thank you to the Westin Grand for hosting a lovely reception last night-and special thanks to our favorite hostess, Carolyn Horton. The Red Room as hot with its rose mojitos, the Chocolate Room.....well.......that speaks for itself. The chocolates were delicious. The rain scared a lot of folks away, but that just meant there was more chocolate for the Jan Davis Entertainment and Events team!! It was great to see lots of familiar faces, especially that of my friend Susan Smith  from Simply Elegant Weddings who made a brief appearance before dashing off to meet with a client! Thank you Westin Grand!
