How important is the music for a wedding?

How important is the music for your wedding? When your guests leave the wedding talking about what a great time they had, they are not talking about the shrimp cocktail. It is because they spent the evening on the dance floor!  At Davis Event Group, our goal is to make sure every client is matched with the DJ or band that is perfect for them. It is not a process of just going through the roster and seeing who is available on the date. And, we work hard at DEG to make sure that all the details have been covered right up until the moment the DJ or bandleader takes over. No matter what else goes on at your wedding-the music will make it the party! We were just so happy with how DJ Steve read our crowd and played a perfect mix of music. He had everyone dancing the entire evening. There were just enough slow songs to take a breathe. He ws also the perfect speaker, announcing all that needed to be said in a fun and entailing manner without being too much of a presence. I guess I could say he had a perfect balance.  Our DJ was Aaron Hahn. All I wanted for our wedding was for people to be on the dance floor having a great time, and Aaron made that possible. He met with us and gave us much needed guidance on our schedule and potential music selections, putting us at ease about the day. The day-of, he helped us with our processional, kept us on schedule, and he played the best music that kept the dance floor jumping throughout the night. We felt so fortunate to have him as our DJ and received a ton of compliments. Aaron was great!!

Jan Davis Entertainment and Events were wonderful to work with! They really listened to me and our needs. After contacting a few other companies, and not finding what I wanted, I turned to Jan who suggested the perfect band for us on the first try!
